Will this come true..? PLEASE NINTENDO!!!
It would be a very stupid mistake if they didn't make this. New Leaf still sells copies, and Japan is obsessed with Animal Crossing.

How do you people enjoy animal crossing?
I tried new leaf, it was literally unplayable, I was stuck on the "do this stuff to become mayor" for like a week before throwing it on ebay.
>>376347995
Isn't Wii U the only home console to not have a Animal Crossing game?
Parade doesn't coutn
>>376348250
Well for one it requires an attention level above that expected of a newborn baby.
It's my main hope for E3 this year, it would make me so happy to see it announced.
>>376348250
It takes like an hour to get through that even if you're a pleb. But I assume this is bait, because I don't think anyone is this retarded.
>>376348309
It's the only console to not have mainline animal crossing since it's creation. Gamecube, DS, Wii, and 3DS have a mainline game. I honestly think it's due to the low numbers that the Wii U sold, and now that the Switch is in very high demand, I can see a new one being made.
pretty sure this will come true. if nintendo does cease 3DS game development then the only place the next animal crossing could be is the switch
unless they go full retard and make a mobile game
>>376347995
We haven't been given any reason why they wouldn't. All the mainline titles have been really well received, especially in Japan. I'm sure we'll get one.
>>376347995
what kind of bait is this image, where its a PNG, "shows transparency" but just has the photoshop transparency grid baked in
like wtf is wrong with you
>>376347995
This will be the definitive console seller if it happens. For me at least.
>>376349025
I found it off of google..
calm down buddy
>>376348831
Mobile game has been confirmed for a while
>>376349295
Hopefully that comes out this year.
I feel like it will interact with the switch version as in like the QR codes
>>376349025
>>376349241
SOMEONE did it and i just dont understand why
that being said, i've never played an animal crossing but i liked stardew and own a switch so i hope we get it
>>376347995
also fucking Paper Mario
>>376347995
Possible names?
I'm kind of partial to Animal Crossing: On the Move

Animal Crossing New Leaf Deluxe
Kappa
>>376350849
Nah, it doesn't seem like they'll just port NL given the update just months earlier.
>>376350849
>Kappa
>mfw I found my Wild World cartridge while cleaning the basement a few days ago.
Reseted it because it's been a fuckton of time and fuck weeds. I'm having lots of fun, and also I got two of the best villagers since the start. I love this game, it's just so cozy.
daily reminder that Animal Crossing is absolute garbage, and if you doubt it, just ask an ACfag what do you do in the game
Just having a new AC title alone isn't going to do much if it's crap [see City Folk.] What features would this new title need to really grab people? For me, it'd be different environments/biomes for your town to be based in other than the usual cliffside plain. Your fruit/insect/fish yield is adjusted based on the region and each gets their own side area akin to the City or the Island.
>>376347995
This is the most obvious and simple thing that Nintendo could do that both customers and critics will like and earn them a ton of money.
So they probably wont do it and make a sequel to that atrocious board game.
>>376347995
oh, it's the game where i pay off a mortgage. Why spend $60 when I already do that in real life.
>>376347995
Why did you steal my picture ?
>>376348745
>>376348250
>having problems to progress in animal crossing
retarded
>>376352210
stfu bitch
>>376347995
This, metroid prime and MH 5 will sell me on the switch.
>Switch has no StreetPass
Dropped.
>>376348250
You can't have the attention span of the nat and enjoy Animal Crossing.
>>376350734
Animal Crossing Switch... why not?
Animal Crossing would be my only reason to buy a Switch, as long as it's not shit like Happy Home Designer. I want to be a villager, not a corporate slave.
>>376348250
>>376354660
be a villager... get out of this thread
>>376348696
forgot n64 you fucjin tard
>>376347995
My main problem with Animal Crossing was that everything involving the villagers and buildings felt shallow. Nothing says fun like when i talk to a villager and they either say generic line #7 or tell me the tutorials again.
>>376348250
Its just a chill game. If you're loading it up and expecting a massive gaming sesh then you're going into it wrong I think. Its the kinda game you chip away at it a few minutes a day
>>376348831
anon...
>>376355313
durrrrr
>>376347995
>Animal Crossing with Paid online
>paying Nintendo to visit other peoples towns and basic functionalities that were present in previous titles
An Animal Crossing MMORPG would be pretty fun if done right.
this will take forever to come out, because the mobile shit game is suppose to be tied into a full release of animal crossing in some way. they wont mush these two together. so, you can thank the mobile phone shitter for this taking even longer to come out.
>>376348250
congratulations on being the one person ever to be shit at animal crossing, i didn't think it was possible but you did it!
Animal Crossing satiates the millennial fantasy of both owning a house with a yard and having friends.
Of course Nintendo would never miss the opportunity to print free money.
With the success of the Switch, you'd have to be pretty blind to not see a mainline Animal Crossing coming.
In fact, you'd have to be pretty blind to not see a mainline entry for almost every one of Nintendo's flagship IP/franchises in the short and long-term future. I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo did more experimental stuff as well or tried to revive their "dead" franchises like Metroid/F-Zero just to test if it still sells well unlike the Wii U where almost every game needed to be a hit in order to get people to buy the system.

>Animal Crossing satiates the millennial fantasy of both owning a house with a yard and having friends.
Uh.. cool projection?
Like most Nintendo games, AC is made with a jap audience in mind. I doubt japs have a problem owning homes unless it's somewhere like Tokyo. You're probably right about the no friends part, though.
Animal crossing open world like Breath of the wild when?
i want to literaly get lost in a fucking forrest and having to call for hell on my cellphone for the girafes police oficers to come looking for me
>>376361174
This just sounds weird. However a fairly large randomly generated map with an actual forest and traversial differences between villagers would be boss as fuck. Imagine new villagers moving in wouldn't just be a small plot you'd find instantly, but something that happens randomly in your forest and sometimes when walking around in your forest you'd find a new house with someone who has lived there for a week without you knowing about it
>>376361174
>an AC game
>with actual stuff to do
hah
