i havent bought a new game in years. i read user reviews wherever can get them just to see whats up with games lately. andromeda was the most fun for this. if im really bored, i'll watch a joseph anderson tier dissection of a game. his unchared series was pretty good.

the only game i might buy is the new spiderman. i'll check /v/ if it has moon swinging or not. the rest of the ga can be trash, i just want good swinging mechanics. im also hoping for it to come to pc and xbox, but i doubt it will, if ever.

I just want another G4 or Tech TV! I know the internet is a thing but can we seriously not have a gaming/tech channel? Animal lovers still get to have their channel and you can get that shit on the internet! Food fanatics have food channels and you can just look up recipes online! Internet is more convenient, but there was something magical about having a dedicated channel. Sitting at home watching X-Play or AotS were the best.

I don't follow any one person's opinion for everything. I look around a ton of reviews to get the general vibe from everyone. If it's bad, I don't buy unless I have a special thing for the game then I buy and fuck what everyone else thinks

i dont trust commercial media. their reviewers are unskilled morons who don't know what the fuck they're doing and their editors are paid off by publishers to ensure favorable coverage of big titles. and if all that wasn't bad enough already, the writing is often atrocious and the articles frequently overflow with pretentiousness, to the point where you can practically taste the massive ego of the writer.

i seriously get more useful information from shitposts on /v/ and garbage metacritic user reviews than i get from professional reviews.
