2 is one of the best action games ever made and has the best combat of any game I ever played (even better than NG2 and DMC3). Sadly, it has silly minigames that slow it down a fair bit at times.

All of the Kingdom Hearts games suffer from one or two massive flaws that keep them from being true classics, as far as I'm concerned. And the series has a bad habit of throwing out the baby with the bathwater when new games come out, so the flaws get ironed out, but some entirely new problem surfaces instead.

With what we've seen from KHIII's gameplay trailers, it looks like they're trying to make the combat a "best of" compilation of everything from the previous games. Hopefully it turns out that way, because it might just end up being a total mess instead.

Aside from 0.2 having the Styles from BBS and, therefore, the Command Deck (presumably), I don't know much about it. Started replaying KH1 yesterday, and maybe it's just because I'm playing on proud, but there's some pretty shitty stuff in this game, like enemy attacks with zero wind up that do half of your health in damage, example being Pot Centipede has that dumb antenna attack that starts its hurtbox before the actual attack starts. Also the delay on the guard makes it pretty hard to block stuff on reaction.

Depends on how far you are into the game. Personally, when I got to the second Riku fight at Hollow Bastion, I just grinded by repeatedly beating the shit out of Yuffie and Leon in the Pegasus Cup. If you're beyond that point, just do the Hades Cup over and over until you feel like you're at a desired level.

Fun series with an amusing (albeit overly convoluted) story and somewhat addictive combat. Once you start unlocking the combos and specials skills, it's fun watching Sora and friends fly around and smashing the enemies in spectacular fashion.

Do have to wonder exactly how the series will continue into yet another 10-15 year saga. They've already used most of the Disney movies that could fit for worlds. Unless they start tapping cartoon, or do some kind of reboot, I can't see things going on for much longer after KH3 (hopefully) brings a satisfying conclusion to the Xehanort storyline.

Well you never know, if they weren't popular enough or interesting enough to the maker, then they could easily be just left with mentions and nothing else.

Now granted, Larxene did place at 5th in the popularity poll for the females in KH, but that's not saying much given KH as a whole only has like 7 original females.

I hate the stale, repetitive writing. Friends, Hearts, Nobodies, Darkness, Seasalt Icecream, Friends, Darkness, Hearts, Friends, Friends, Darkness. By the end of the game(s) those words lose all meaning to me. Days is probably the worst offender in that regard.

Hi I wanted to know how do you feel about the mysterious elements of Kingdom hearts like the place at the beginning where you choose your sword, staff or shield and where you fight roxas, also the metaphysical aspect like hearts, one sky, light VS dark.
The whole mysterious aspect of it all.

I personally love it. I love the whole not knowing what's going on aspect like with Roxas in traverse town where a word was stolen or how somebody is asleep because they lost their heart but not physically.
Its beautiful and I really love these parts about the game.

I feel like people would hate me for this but I want game like this and for the Disney worlds to be left out. The whole going to kh only worlds meeting ff characters fighting for your heart, and searching for your heart, overcoming darkness. It's beautiful. I love it.

Is it known why the PS4 controller doesn't work perfectly when playing the PS3 KH games? Like it has a dead zone when diagonally tilted down or something.

When I think of Disney in KH I don't think about the original material. To me all the Disney things in the game just feel like Final Fantasy, and it also influences a lot of the aspects in the game, like a characters clothing.
