Personally I change my damage difficulty to scale with my armor so I basically take the same damage all game but still have the satisfaction of playing at full difficulty once I start putting together my lordly full plate set.

Half is fine for me, I feel like the outgoing and incoming damage matches up well. Normal just means everything takes a lot longer since you have to be a coward, or else you get oneshot. But with half, you still can't be retarded.

In fact I'm convinced that half is normal and normal is 1.5x or double damage taken.

does anyone know a good gunpowder mod for warband?
i tried calradia imperial age but it's beta trash and it has been discontinued like most gunpowder mods

How the fuck am I supposed to get good at horses?

I'm so bad that I'm at the point that in horse tournaments I get off the horse the second I spawn and just fight all the other horse cavalry on foot.

I don't recall particularly enjoying any of them aside from maybe gekokujo because gunpowder weapons are a very difficult thing to properly balance and almost no mods make the effort to do so. You want them to be powerful enough to justify their use and to make wielding them fun, but at the same time you don't want them one shotting you across the whole map every battle because that's just really gay and it's the latter that most mods seem to fuck up.

If you want to cheese it, use a spear or lance to take out their horses before then couching them on foot. It's almost impossible to fuck up as your lance will always hit their horses head before their lance touches you.

Literally E3. They're going to be touring around the shows (IGN, Gamespot, etc.) Should have new gameplay demo, trailer, and probably a release date. They had a PCGamer feature a couple months ago with new screenshots.

I wish they would add a "strategic mode" in Bannerlord in which the camera zooms out to a Total War perspective and you could give your troops orders that way.

It's been hard for me to pick this game back up again after like a year since a huge gamebreaking bug.

I had captured every single holding in the game for Swadia for the achievement to win the game as a vassal.

I couldn't actually win the game though because one of the rhodok kings got captured when i captured his city and so he ceased to exist. So I couldn't actually win the game.

yeah, I usually flank around the enemy and use a bow till the soldiers get stuck in the fight and swoop in for kills when the opportunities present themselves.

I have auto lance control as my only crutch, which I only use for tournaments.
