Your actions in each game are only canon to that one game but not to the series.
In DS2&3 it is not canon that a chosen undead killed the four kings, or seath, or nito or even gwyn necessarily.
And if you disagree take a moment to really think about it, and come to the realization that it is the most obvious and simple answer to why Ornstein reappears in 2 and why we find his remains in archdragon peak in DS3.

First of all Demon's Souls tied both sorceries and miracles as actually being the same thing with the reveal that The Old One was God.

And secondly of course Dark Souls kept sorceries and miracles because it was another SOULS game. In it they come from different sources with only sorceries being close to the ones in DeS because it's described as being fueled direcly by souls yet this time created by Seath.

And all those descriptions from the locusts apply to DS3 NPCs, mainly the ones in TRC including red phantoms from Alva and Eygon.

The miracles are epics written by clerics in the Dark Souls world and recital of the epics brings about the spells effects. This is why new spells can be made. Jesus its like I'm talking to someone who never bothered to read the item descriptions. Pyromancies were created eventually by swamp people who didn't want their flame to die.
Sorceries were developed by different schools across Lordran. The dragon school in Dark Souls 1 created spells that made people stealthy, for example. There is no direct correlation in magic and the first flame.
This is why the Witches of Izalith magic source is a mystery.

You need to back up your claim that the flames allow magic to happen. Don't sperg like a retard dipshit. Back up your claim.

Only boss soul spells in Dark Souls take their power directly from souls. And this is the same way it was done in Demons Souls.

Ringed City literally doesn't have an ending.

You beat the final piece of content in the series, explore a massive expanse of desert for new areas; which there aren't any, and the game just stays that way. Nothing more to come even though it's extremely heavily implied.

It wasn't really poetic or thought-provoking to tread through an empty land of dust... I just found myself wondering why it was so lazy. Like, it was well beyond DaS2 levels of feeling incomplete. Even just letting the credits roll over the screen while you walk around would've granted more closure. Didn't they make entirely new credits music?

I guess my first real red flag was that you could only take a straight line through the city down into a swamp and none of the upper buildings were reachable. The whole thing felt unfinished as hell.

Do people actually play the dark souls games for the pvp? Sure the element is there but it doesn't feel like that is their primary focus, still I see a lot of moaning about it.

Some of the criticisms of DS3 was that the PVP was poor and that it reduced the longevity of the game. (would still just artificially increase it)
