The MMO as a genre stagnated and died because original ideas were scared off by the pile of skulls stacked outside of WoW's cave. As the healer or tank, you're well aware that you're the one holding the fight together. If a DPS goes down, that's manageable; you might even be able to get by without him. If the tank/s go down, that's the beginning of the end of the party, and the amount of time that the healer has to pull shit back together is extremely limited. If the healer/s go down, that IS the end of the party, unless the enemy is basically dead when it happens.

As someone who both DPSs and heals, I feel less attached to the fight as a DPS.

I got 500-2000 shards but that doesn't matter if you're not using leves because grinding fucking devours shards, especially with CUL that takes 3 shards per food cooked at level 30. A problem with ARR's story is that a lot of 1.0 and background stuff for Minfilia is just never told to the player. All most gather from her is that she's a somewhat clingy 'leader' that doesn't do much of anything. Not to start a Minfilia Defense Force or anything retarded like that, but a big reason for why she's hated so much, justifiably or otherwise, is because ARR's storytelling was fucking awful in so many ways and botched an otherwise (potentially) interesting topic.

No, he especially said that he didn't issue the warning on my account at all, but apparently the 2 DPS were friends and they both reporting me for calling out the shitty one, I explained to the GM that the monsters were taking forever to kill even if I was DPSing as a healer and I was getting second in the hate meter build ingame even without heal so there was clearly a problem.
He was understanding and just told me to be careful and gentler next time.
