Your teammate AI in SWAT 3 isn't braindead. There is more depth to how they move around, clear a room and what they report. I never had a total squad wipe because someone bounced a flashbang off a door frame then 4 of them ran in the room in a straight line like in SWAT 4

You can tell SWAT 4 is made by people who went on to do Bioshock. There's a huge focus on 'atmosphere' (serial killer house etc) rather than being a more sterile Police simulation

and by more fluid gameplay i mean you can easily issue advanced orders to different fireteams as soon as you learn the hotkey combos, you can actually move while leaning which makes room clearing far more enjoyable, and movement speeds are faster as well as no BS accuracy crosshair whenever you move faster than a snail's pace

I played it in the beta and the first six months where it actually functioned as a tactical shooter.

It's pretty common knowledge that the current meta is just to play it like COD and abuse the shit out of the terrible netcode
