I originally had doubts about the ff7 remake when it was first showed off. But over time i got to thinking maybe it'd be alright. Then ff15 came out and was a trainwreck and i just don't trust SE have the competence to do the remake any justice anymore

episodic thing is pretty retarded, though it CAN make sense if they are using it to craft a 'fuck hueg gaem' without entering a development hell/spending years and years and constantly delaying release.

I would still prefer a full game at launch though.

Also, for it to be better, it should be the FFXV combat system reworked slightly to incorporate magic better, good graphics and mostly the same story. Literally all it needs for me to enjoy it imo.

I enjoyed FF15, if the side content is made more enjoyable, they incorporate materia well and don't ruin Yuffie then it'll be 10/10 for me.
