9.0/10 I'm on my second run, first was a little under 30 hours.

Makes Andromeda look like an early access indie game, hyped for SS1 remake and SS3.

I got it after hearing how hard it was and how much you gotta conserve ammo even on normal difficulty but so far I've found it really easy. Granted I'm only about three hours in but all I do is just use the glue gun and throw explosive canisters at enemies.

you find it easy because you're playing on normal AND playing the game in a smart way.

hard mode starts off a bit tougher but if you use your wits like you are then you'll get through it well.

Arkane seems to have issues with ending their games. But everything before the ending is great.

not 100% sure but i think resources get more scarce, you take more damage and then enemies seem to generally be more clever.

in some parts mimics and other fuckers do some really tricky bullshit.

don't take combat focus it makes the game way too easy.

I've noticed Mats are reduced, enemies dish out more damage and mimics are a bit more clever.

why does he hate the game though? its relatively challenging, has a good deal of content and detail in it and is a good successor to system shock 2. better than bioshock at least. sounds like he had a personal problem with it that made him stretch it to the gameplay and story.

It's surprisingly awesome.

Graphics are a weak point, but the design makes up for it imo.

I felt like the game had the cheapest "great ending" it could have made It's a good twist but it felt too cheap in the execution

On hard this game is really giving me a good rogering. Had to invest in Psi just to stand a chance.
