Been a while since we had a cyberpunk thread
Deus Ex Human Revolution almost did a great job, but the graphics were a bit too shitty. Also, Detroit felt really small and shitty. Hengsha was pretty awesome though.

There hasn't been a cyberpunk thread for the same reason there hasn't been a Barbie dress up thread...Nobody cares.
>>376271785
what?dxhr was fucking great
>>376272257
Reddits that way steampunk kid.
I feel liker Cyberpunk 2077 is going to fix all the shit that was wrong with The Witcher 3. You'll be able to choose and make your own character. Gameplay will be improved and less of a thing that gets old after the first five minutes.

its one hell of an ambitious project
but if they capture that authentic cyberpunk feel in a huge living breathing city.....damn
>tfw no GTA-style akira game
>>376273419
rockstar needs to get on that shit
>>376273419
>>376273573
But do you play as Kaneda, or some generic biker/ thief during the events?
>>376273419
>tfw no breath of the wild style Princess Mononoke/Nausicaa game
>>376274184
doesnt matter with the power of mods
>>376274184
the majority of the game is played as Kaneda, but particular levels are played as Tetsuo
>>376270275

>>376275000

From soft are being commissioned for exclusives for Nintendo. What if they made a cyberpunk action game like when they made Bloodborne for Sony? I'd like it to be focused on ranged weapons though.
>>376275919
you serious? its 5000 resolution
>>376276112
Ah shit, it wasn't opening right.
SEQUEL WHEN???
>>376270275

This fucking game

My fucking favorite book of all time. If you liked that one I suggest reading the other two in the sprawl trilogy. Count zero kind of drags except for turner's arc but mona lisa makes it worth while. Neither of those come close to the first though.
>>376276070
>kid friendly cyberpunk
fuck off
>>376276341
this
mile a minute, vague. I fucking hate his writing style, his wordbuilding is alright though.
>>376276341
>>376276548
I don't believe either of you have actually read it, and that you are just repeating someone else's opinion that you heard once. I don't know why its so cool to rag on Gibson these days, it used to be the hipster thing to say you have read it, now its the hipster thing to say you tried but it was "bad" or "hard to read" when its pretty much the easiest thing to read ever. You'd have to be a drooling retard to have problems reading this.
>>376275000
>System Shock 3
wat
>>376277243
>hurr durr hipster
I read it in my native language and english because I was hoping that it was just a bad translation but it was STILL shit.
Don't get me wrong, the story is good, it's just that that it is told in a really vague style that makes it shit to read.
>>376276209
so fucking good, i love putting on the audiobook before bed it makes me fall asleep to a cyberpunk world being described in such amazing detail
>>376276498
