Videogame Kino

And to prove I'm not a shill, dishonored 1 and 2 are boring and fucking terrible as well as fallout 4
>>
Great game. But nowhere near BOTW or Persona 5 level's of good.

>>
>>376265379
it's significantly better than botw, but definitely not better than persona 5
>>
was the leak about the whole thing being a simulation to see how you would spread the alien disease true?
>>
Ending was interesting but why did they separated it between credits?
It feels underwhelming.
>>
>>376265463
HAHAHA GUYS LOOK AT THIS LITERALLY WHO REVIEWER WHO GAVE THE GAME A BAD SCORE

Just finished it in 29 hours. It was really good but am I the only one who rushed Shuttle Bay?
Couldn't fucking explore with all the Military Operators.

No but there are endings with very specific criterias that haven't been met yet, devs hinted about this in a tweet.

Anyone playing with 8 gb of ram? Have a i5 4690k, 1070, and 8 gb of ram and was wondering what kind of performance to expect?

>>376265467
I don't understand the love for Personal. It's a really slow game, but it requires very little thought to progress. It feels like I'm just going through the motions and watching someone else play.
>>
>get stungun early on
>completely useless
>midgame and fully upgraded

I don't think a game has ever had such a deadly none-leathal weapon

Fuck this part, I ended up just spamming recycle charges in the end and it felt incredibly unsatisfying.

>>376265683
i don't know who that guy is but the fact that almost all scenes show him without armor, that he said the game would never make you feel strong in the end and that he had no ammo and no healthpacks towards the final stretch tells me he's a full blown casual.

the game isn't perfect, but rushing through it just to shit out a review shouldn't be tolerated
>>
>>376267528
It appeals to the autismo weeb demographic and they froth at the mouth if you even hint it might be bad.
>>
>>376267659
Seriously? Why do they do this shit.
>>
>>376267739
Start over! You do however get it later too.
But fuck the Q-beam, that gun isn't worth the ineventory slots
>>
system shock with jumpscares
>>
>>376267949
You find a blueprint for the thing really early in, why would you start over?
>>
>>376268000
nah, system shock two had variety, better twists, and hostile atmosphere
>>
>>376267930
Yep, it suprised me as well. In last part of the game I only used focus, wrench and stungun.
>>
>>376267949
q-beam does seem like shit

maybe it gets better when upgraded but using the neuromods only to upgrade it and the gloo gun doesn't seem worth it
>>
Bethesda shills pls go.
>>
>>376268269
It's not, I have it fully upgraded and it still takes a shit load of time to kill big enemies and it doesn't even have a status effect.
>>
>>376267870
Holy shit, is this what the curren gen of gamers are now? And I was disappointed that the game literally turns into a corridor shooter once you got enough neruomods.
>>
>>376268150
It's still the closest thing you'll get and is miles ahead of Bioshock as a spiritual successor.
>>
WESTERN GAMES ARE BACK BABY!
>>
>>376268664
Closer to Bioshock than System Shock. I will admit its miles ahead of Bioshock:Infinite, "1999 mode" my ass.
>>
>>376268809
>Closer to Bioshock than System Shock

I really disagree. Unless Bioshock had an actual progression system, good level design with interconnected levels, scarce amno and decent difficulty.
>>
>>376267870
Wtf? Playing on Hard, completed the Looking Glass mission and the only times where I died was by recklessly rushing into more than one Phantom. There are more than enough health and suit repair kits lying around, seems like people are not taking their time and trying to rush through the game.
>>
>>376265898
You fucking faggot
>>
>>376269095
Difficulty really pikes around middle of the game when you encounter harder enemies and recyclers are not easily accessibles.
>>
Is the game really good? I have no clue what it is even about or what you do.
>>
>>376269232
Let me guess, those purple glowing stronger versions? Only encountered one but they only seemed a bit tankier.
>>
>>376269002
First person platforming is not good level design. Ammo scarcity becomes moot with neuromods and recycling. I don't know if the crafting system is broken or not but I shouldn't be able to make twice the materials I put into it. Cant speak about higher difficulty but it feels quite easy on normal difficulty.
>>
>>376269347
It's just a Bioshock clone from the developers of Dishonored 2
>>
>>376269347
If you're into games like System Shock or Bioshock or even Deus Ex, then it is for you.
>>
>>376269458
Are the enemies more varied than just black shadow monsters?
>>
>>376269428
Theses, plus technopaths and weavers.
>>
>>376269526
Not really.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmXlxk5Z-ew
>>
>>376267870
this makes me want to play the game even more

I always thought Bioshock and Dishonored were too easy even on the hardest difficulties
>>
>>376269428
>He hasn't even encountered Weavers or Technopaths
>>
>>376269619
Looking forward to fight them. Game felt a bit too easy.
>>
>>376269629
God dammit this is such boring fucking design. I'm so fucking sick of this black shapeless monster shit, it was shit in Resident Evil 7 and it's shit now.

Bioshock and System Shock at least had interesting enemies.
>>
>>376265467

>botw
>good

>persona 5
>also known as persona 4.5
>>
I want to like this game but I can't get passed the annoying as fuck FPS dips.

Am I literally the only person having performance problems? Walking is frustrating as shit because the framerate slows me down and then speeds me up depending on if it's lagging or some shit.
>>
>>376269752
I recommend playing on Hard at least.
>>
>>376269731
I think I encountered one when I backtracked to the first area, does it shoot those weird hovering electro bolts that damage you when you're in close proximity? Good fight.
>>
>>376268000
jumpscares implies scripted events
>>
>>376270009
Yes, those are Technopaths.
>>
>>376269783
>Bioshock

What? Wasn't it always the same drug addicts with no special abilities and occasional big daddies?
>>
>>376269906
Try turning off v-sync?
>>
>Prey

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veNLLvAvB-w
>>
>>376270098
Bioshock may have been a bad example, but it was still a better variation than this.
>>
>>376270083
Not gonna lie, its attacks caught me off guard and did some massive damage but I had so many Medkits (not even crafted) that it didn't matter. Praise recycling and EMP grenades.

>>376269990
Yeah I am playing on Hard.
>>
>>376270109
I literally turned everything to low, vsync off and windowed mode and I still get these drops. Really annoying and I'm starting to wonder if my GPU is defective or something.
>>
>>376270392
Sounded like a vsync issue but if it's not that I don't really know.
Keep a monitor thing open and see if you run out of RAM/VRAM or if your harddrive is being overloaded.
Or wait for a patch.
>>
>>376270573
The only thing I see that could be troublesome is a 70% CPU usage. Other than that I'm not even getting high temps.
I guess I have to wait for a patch or something.
>>
>>376265482
It might have been true?
It's revealed that you're in a simulation, and you are a Typhon injected with Human stuff (instead of it being the other way around). The simulation is basically a reconstruction of Morgan Yu's memories which get imprinted on to the hybrid in an attempt to see how it responds to the problems its given. If it shows that it has enough empathy, then it passes - and is essentially a Typhon with Morgan Yu's humanity imprinted in to it.
So basically... I think the events of the game do happen, then it's revealed that they're using those events as a testing ground for the Typhon-Hybrid to learn from, and so they can learn from it.
It's also possible that there are multiple versions of the Typhon-Hybrid. If you decide to abandon the space station using the secret escape route, you get a sequence where you hear voices saying "This isn't the one..." "Start over."
>>
>>376270337
Well as someone else said, recycler/fabricators start becoming a lot less accessible as you progress.
>>
>>376265379
Why are you shilling those awful persona games all the time. Its japanese trash anime game.
Go to /vg/ and suck some more feminine dick

Hahaha, holy hell you're right. No idea how he was out of armor since even on nightmare difficulty I've found so many suit repair kits I've recycled some and still always keep myself in top tier protection, so either he's such a mouthbreather he didn't even notice the armor system at all, or he's such a mouthbreather that he somehow couldn't keep his armor maintained. Both signs of a professional videogame reviewer.
