FF13 saga is good

I've only played FF13 and FF13-2 and loved them both. I have Lightning's return but haven't played enough or beaten it.

I enjoyed it. Lightning returns was the most fun tough. Also 11/10 OST, best ost are on 13-2.

The trilogy just improves towards the end. Some of the best JRPGs since late 90s.

Not even III or IV where even close to the shitfest XIII was.

Probably the worst in the whole series and borderline the reason the franchise is a mess.

I've only played FF13 so I won't comment on the other two.

But the combat is tedious as enemies have way too much HP, and it's usually boring since you're just mashing autobattle most of the time. This is compounded by the fact that outside of battles the whole game is one long dungeon grind, hallway simulator indeed.

The story is even worse. Despite an interesting setting it's a complete mess and incomprehensible at times. The entire section on Pulse was completely pointless to the plot.
