I'd call it inspired by Souls games but too different to be a Souls clone, personally. It's like an odd mix between character action and Souls in my opinion. I think the gameplay is better but some of the bosses are fucking atrocious, especially that vampire lady. Then again, I only played the 2nd beta so maybe its not as bad? I feel like unlike Souls games, the weapon balance was off though. Using heavy slow weapons seemed to put you at a big disadvantage
