Considering how much they get wrong, I think it'd be easier to list what we DON'T want changed from 5, since that listwill be a lot smaller.

I'd like the core gameplay and weapon balance kept from 5. It's the tightest Halo has felt period, as well as the most balanced in terms of weapon usability. The new movement mechanics were actually well executed.

Flood levels were the least fun part of the first trilogy. They were really atmospheric, sure, but there were way too many ammo-sponge enemies, too little ammo, and constantly either too little or too much space.

I want a war that doesn't involve a Forerunner doomsday device. Just a normal war where lots of aliens die because I've shot them and reasonable war related objectives are accomplished. I am so fucking sick of doomsday devices.

There were samples of flood stored at every Halo installation. Hell, they even appear in Spartan Assault.
