I don't think zombies count as mythological creatures. The modern "zombie" was basically invented by Hollywood in your parents' lifetime. If "zombie" is your umbrella term for any evil undead person, then I'm sure you could find plenty of myths to fit the bill, but if "zombie" means a mindless flesh eater whose victims become zombies, then they really don't belong in the same category as thing that actually came from ancient myths.
You could probably make the same argument about vampires, if they're the Dracula type.
