>game has a warehouse/factory level
These levels always suck and they're always the ones that fans look back on as "THAT" part of the game. Why were they so prevalent in video games?
People always hate underwater, swamp, sewers and sometimes snow (if they have slippery floors) levels, but I never heard of anyone hating on warehouse levels ever.
I don't mind them except for the inevitable part where you have to run on a conveyor belt and avoid the production machinery...
Factory level in Nightfire was kino
Walleye Warehouse is the best map though.

Wait a minute. That building...
When that warehouse shows up, you know it'll be a good video.

Why is /tv/ tier shitposting being done on /v/ now? Porn threads and now the kink.com warehouse threads? Back to /tv/ you scum
>>376233274
Isn't that the warehouse from Ultimate Surrender? The levels I hate are sewers because they most of the time have all the annoying type of enemies.
ease on developers. random industrial stuff is easy to model/texture and highly reusable

That armory looks familiar

Warehouse/factory levels in Fallout 3 (& i think NV had some) were always very tedious and annoying because it was possible to get really lost (everything being really bleak didn't help either) but I didn't mind it too much.dunwich building was bleak and tedious too but at least it was spooky

I love underwater if it's some kind of facility with glass between inside and outside. Those levels are honestly god-tier.
>>376233274
you need contrast.
shitty levels make cool levels stand out more
>>376234409
they also make the game less fun you absolute mong

>meme
It's the film location of Kink.com, you dip
I remember the Giovanni factory level sucking in Vampire: the Masquerade - Redemption.
On an unrelated note, I loved working in warehouses when I was in college. Just moving around boxes all day. Chat with your coworkers if you want, otherwise you just have lots of time with your own thoughts.

I unironically like warehouse shootouts in video games.
GTAIV's warehouse scenes were kino as fuck, like the part where you have to rescue Roman.
Is an armory the same thing as a warehouse?

get out

You fucking pleb. You can't even begin to understand how good these stages are. After playing in a jungle, cave, forest, then glacier, it takes you to the frontier of humans, garbage, and pollution. They feel distinctly different but still spin on the fun core gameplay. Only fuck those fire things in the end but if you got the rhino you were golden. I bet your favorite stage was stop and go station you fucking faggot

Armories are warehouses but not all warehouses are armories.
