I'm pretty sure I've drifted the last turn on the track (before you go onto the straight away) and I bet it's possible to drift some turns of it in real life but it's probably not recommended. If you tried drifting on a public track day you would probably get kicked out.

in gran turismo 4 you can race on the old circuit de la sarthe which has no chicanese on the Mulsanne Straight but when you participate in sanctioned races that give you rewards it's always the version of Circuit de la Sarthe with chicanes.
