Dynamic game highlight system? Pretty much. This is not cod-style "last round kill", this is easy to recreate, this is a complex system that monitors who did what and when and tries to find the best moment based on a load of parameters. Name a game that did that before OW. The idea might have been there for a while, but nobody really tried doing it before OW. IIRC the game didn't have highlight system in the closed beta (or alpha?, I forgot), though it was a completely different game back then anyway

Keep convincing yourselves... you're just flat out wrong. I've played both games and like them both enough. But this game is just factually not as high quality.

The character balance is even more unbalanced than OW if that's even fucking possible.
Too many moves do too much damage, it's so easy to die and theres absolutely no strategy at play because of this. No need for tanks or healers at all, it's just an all-out DPS fest where everyone dies as soon as they reach the objective.

It just isn't as coordinated or allow for as much in-depth play.

The highlight cam is something that Dota 2's had for ages, OW's is just the same thing but at the end of the match rather than at any time during spectator mode.

I have both and uninstalled Battle.net after getting bored of OW. Only person who's delusional is the one who thinks every person who prefers Paladins is delusional. Also OW character balance is abysmal and they can't even get characters right after reworking them multiple times. Nobody can top that.

I like the audio actually, but they need to improve the quality. They apparently recently updated voice lines to be better quality so it doesn't sound like everybody's speaking through tin cans. I don't really have a problem with the weapon or kill sounds.

Mechanically, yes. However while there are some fun character designs, and the free to play model is appealing, I can't help but feel that the characters aren't as interesting. Plus the fantasy setting just looks generic to me.

all the currency is acquired quickly and cards are dirt cheap. the actual founder's pack doens't even unlock everything for you except the characters, and even that is also only like 20 bucks I think - less than any other multiplayer shooter that's come out recently.
