You're missing out on Jesus and teenage Clem, but the season hasn't been great otherwise. Walkers aren't really a threat at all yet, only there to cause some tension to keep the characters moving.
It's better than season two, at least, since they don't throw 59 characters at you so they can die five minutes later.
