SF IV and V's art style is also terrible imo.

Tekken is much more fluent and controlling every character is just straight up more satisfying.

I prefer Tekken (artstyle, martial arts, animations, movement, characters, plot, ...). It's going to be nice to have a good 3D fighter again. Been since VF5 on PS3.

Mostly a Bryan main, I love how much he loves fighting and dominating his opponent. I laugh like T4 Bryan regularly. I also like his design, with the grey hair and weird scars. I love how he's basically a terminator, or more correctly the replicant played by Rutger Hauer in Blade Runner. And finally, I love that he's a kick boxer, since I do kick boxing myself.

I prefer Tekken because I'm a lot better at it.

Mostly a Kuma main, I love how much he loves sitting and farting on his opponent. I eat fish like T4 Kuma regularly. I also like his design, with the brown fur and weird shirt. I love how he's basically a memelord, or more correctly the most reviled character in the entire franchise. And finally, I love that he's a bear, since I am a bear myself.

Anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, KoF and MK have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!

If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, might.
