Why is catwoman so ugly? They fixed supergirl's and Wonder woman's face, and somehow managed to make Harley and Poison Ivy passable, but they just forgot to remodel catwoman. Same with Blue Beetle and Black Adam. They made Superman's face not shit and made Aquaman look like Chaddious Maximus, when he looked like a deformed Kevin Bacon before, but Blue Beetle looks like Thomas the tank engine and Black Adam looks like Richard Nixon. At least make Blue Beetle cover his face all the time so we don't have to look at that abomination.

I hate how blatantly slanted the gear system is.

Bane has the laziest customs in the game where all his cosmetic gear is just shit tacked on top of him with no model changes, while Scarecrow actually has entirely new outfits. Batman gets completely new models for all of his gear pieces while others get recolours.

That said. Hoping Blue Beetle is playable at launch. Saw they added a new move for him and that gives me hope that they made him much more viable. Planning to main BB, Dr. Fate, Darkseid, or Captain Cold. Such a good roster, if it had Deathstroke AND Static, I would preorder the collecters edition instead of the basic version.

lol. as usual, i applaud nrs for supplying a diverse archetype variety, especially in times when modern fighting games are moving further and further from zoning, and yet we're getting deadshot/ivy/captain cold/etc. Balance and over patching problems go hand in hand with nrs games, but i'm excited to see how the meta evolves. There were a lot of character specialists in injustice (and mk9), yet the nrs community kind of shied away from that for mkx. I don't know if that's a testament to the games or the community evolving.

If you're looking for primers or talk on the gameplay, watch tower streams give you the basic moves/ideas of the characters, and ketchup and mustard have intro primers for some of the newer announced characters on their channel.
