Played both of these as a kid. Liked them then. replayed last time I saw this thread. God they did not age well. Though it's like that with a lot of these older licensed games, especially on gameboy and pc, so I'm not sure what I expected.

Looking up many old lego games yields some pretty good results. I recently played through Spybotics: The Nightfall Incident again and it still holds up very well, as does Junkbot and Backlot.

It was close enough to being one.

Lego Racers is kickass, replayed it recently and it doesn't quite hold up in some ways but it's still a lot of fun.
I remember really wanting Lego Racers 2 when that came out, but I haven't played it to this day Am I missing out on anything?

It was still a good game, just not as good as lego racers 1.
The only thing that was improved was the car building really, but the open world was boring, and it was way easier because they toned down the pick ups and gave the cars a weird health system instead of just a knockback thing.
I still loved it though.
