Playing the game.
>>376179801
But I can't pirate it therefore it is poo poo?
>>376179801
Sitting at home playing this fairly comfy game
>>376179928
poor much tripfag?
>>376179801
Denuvo
It's surprisingly good. I'm doing a run without using any of the alien powers at the moment.
>>376179801
playing other games instead of something i dont want to play
I didn't care about this game when /v/ was shit posting (barely saw any anyway), and I don't care now.
According to /v/'s threads, it's either System Shock 3 or complete shit. Who is right?
IS IT WORTH FULL PRICE ON PS4
Wondering why people like a Bioshock clone so much.
>>376179801
bioshock in space
>>376180541
It's somewhere in the middle. Leaning more toward SS3.
>>376179801
i spent 20 minutes fucking around in yu’s bedroom in Prey–just throwing shit everywhere and making a mess. then i rode a helicopter and, as soon as it landed, i climbed up and hopped into the helicopter blades, killing me and netting me an achievement.
but no autosave system was present so it brought me back to the beginning of the game, complete with a clean, tidy bedroom. i got so upset i just quit the game
… so that’s my review of Prey so far
>>376180594
Probably better to wait for a sale teebj
>>376181138
Literally right after I buy the game u tell me this ;_;
I beat System Shock 2, and I'm feeling fucking overwhelmed with Prey. Holy shit Morgan is weak from the start I just got owned by a Flaming Mimic Monster.
>>376181125
>then i rode a helicopter and, as soon as it landed, i climbed up and hopped into the helicopter blades
What did you expect?
>>376179928
another one to filter
>>376181964
Welp, I think I'm worse than him because I tried to jump up into the blades and couldn't do it.
>>376181394
Its a good game its just not that long
>>376180870
So System Shock?
>>376182147
Bioshock isn't System Shock, therefore Bioshock in space isn't System Shock.
>>376182092
It must have good replay value
Was this true at all?
>>376181964
an autosave after landing, i guess
>>376182312
all of it is true
>>376182312
yeah, everything is true
>>376182229
Prey is more like System Shock than Bioshock.
>>376182312
SPOILER THE IMAGE NAME YOU ABSOLUTE CUNT
>>376179801
What do you mean?
/v/ was generally not too vocal one way or the other on this game.
Sure a year or so back when Prey 2 was canned and they said it was getting a reboot and a vocal portion of /v/ were nonplussed about the whole thing but that quickly died down and people kind of completely forgot this existed until like a month ago. In which nobody really gave a shit in any real complicity.
How could /v/ be blown out when they didn't even care in the first place?
>>376182041
You just climb up the nose of the copter.
Still mad we didn't get bounty hunters in space.
>>376182040
See you next thread!
>>376180718
YOUVE MADE me ANGRY
Give it to me straight anons, am I getting 60 dollars worth of entertainment out of this?
>>376186929
Just buy a key for half off or wait. If you weren't a little bit hyped about the game before release I wouldn't recommend dropping full price without at least trying the demo and seeing if you like it
>>376187625
I wasn't paying attention to the development, but I am a big fan of the people involved.
I was also gonna get it boxed. it's a lot more fun getting something in the mail.
>>376181125
There's a quicksave. Use it.
>>376186929
it feels more system shock than bioshock did but the story isn't as interesting
it does have great atmosphere and the gameplay is quite fun, especially on hard
I got it for 42 bucks. I'm enjoying it
>>376185732
People cared more about how Bethesda/Zenimax was massively fucking over the developers and trying to steal the rights to the IP more than the game itself.
Anyone knoe how to get into this locked room in Psychotronics, across from the prisoner you can kill / save?
>>376182312
It's true, except the game is actually really good.
>>376182312
yeah completely accurate actually, even clarified a couple things i didn't catch
>>376188717
if i'm not mistaken that's Exotic Materials, which means you have to seal a breach on the exterior of talos with the GLOO gun. think there's an email or transcribe you have to pick up to get the quest
By what?
If you're talking about Prey it's getting slammed in reviews and isn't selling well
>>376186058
The game was going to be shit.
Hence why it got cancelled.
>>376189668
>If you're talking about Prey it's getting slammed in reviews and isn't selling well
It's doing bretty well with critic and player reviews.
Not sure what you're on about.
>>376189668
>If you're talking about Prey
Nigga what? The only three reviews it has now are 85-85-90. Are you the kind of retard that thinks anything bellow 95 is a "slam" review?
>>376190850
It's basically a fail these days for a reason
The first reviews are always a leading indicator of what to expect because subsequent reviews are ALWAYS lower. It'll sit around 78-80 on metacritic after it's done
>When its a game that gets 90-100 its paid reviews
>Anything below 90 is steaming garbage
>Make my own opinion? You just want me to buy the game shill
What the fuck is wrong with people nowadays.
>a fucking comic book writer
Why does /v/ pretend to like this guy again?
>>376191213
Welcome to /v/, anon.
>>376191263
Because he's a good writer and a cool guy?
>>376191586
I forgot to mention
>If the game has anything to do with another cancelled game, then by the law of /v/ cancelled game would've been the best game ever made.
>>376191693
Yep, /v/ only likes games that were never released.
Sounds spectacularly legit.
I went back to Neurolabs too late and December was already killed by January. If you go there earlier does he survive, and does that screw me out of an ending or something?
>>376191954If you perform Decembers task first you just get to watch January blow him up.
