Futaba's not bad. Pretty cringey, but sweet. I find romancing her to be a bit shitty though. You pretty much take on the big brother/protector role with her, helping her out of her shut-in attitude and going out into the world. She pretty much won't do anything unless you're there to protect her. Romancing her just feels like taking advantage of somebody who clearly doesn't know how to control their emotions yet and who trusts you to look out for their best interests.

I tried to pass it off as a fluke after I did Ann and Ryuji's, but then I started Makoto's and just let her rot in the fucking hallway for the rest of the game because I was so pissed off.

I don't feel like I could be around the majority of them for prolonged periods of time. Tae is an adult that wears grunge rock concert clothes in public as casual wear, Ohya seems older than what she appears to be and Joker is in high school, Sadayo is a prostitute, Hifumi seems like she would gather moss after a few days, Futaba would say meme in public, Anne is a "party friend" and outside doing things like that seems like she'd always want to go out, and Chifuyu is a filthy gypsy.

Sae, Haru, and Makoto are the ones that seem like you would be able to stand to be around for a long time without becoming annoyed at their presence. Sae has had the burden of growing up, paying bills, choosing/sticking to a career, and supporting another person seemingly before she graduated high school from her dad's death so it's no surprise she's a bitch. But add another adult into the picture to lessen those burdens and she'd likely mellow out. Haru is fuwa~fuwa~ and is incredibly capable of already creating a business that she wants which can easily be done throughout her life making living easier for the two of you. And Makoto will probably succeed in her chosen path, also doable until retirement, and would arguably be the best mother of all the girls next to maybe Tae or Sadayo. But what made me choose Makoto was the useless slip from a stressed Sae, stalking you with a book, and beep boop.

Still would have chosen Sae if I actually had the choice though.

It shines in the encounters with enemies with no weaknesses that plague people like Anubis. Hit the weakness of one of their backups, then baton pass to Yusuke and flatten the problem.

A bit more situational, but a full team baton pass onto Yusuke deals tons more damage with Heat Wave than an AoA

That being said, I've found Yusuke/Ryuji have got a decent crit rate too, dunno if I was just lucky

Hifumi was okay. She reminded me of Yukiko in that she was pretty bland outside of her one quirk, but at least that one quirk was entertaining this time around, her Confidant was engaging enough and she wasn't a party member, so she wasn't wearing out her welcome. I would probably place her as fifth or sixth best girl.
