genesis/super nintendo era

If i were to say what my nostalgia wants it would be the 5th gen but in reality it was probably the seventh gen for me.

Sixth gen resonates with me, probably because

>young enough to have free time for all those games
>old enough to afford more of them on my own

The PC generation

>Sega goes all out, piles the experimental shit on their swan song of a console
>Sony offers a convoluted, underpowered DVD player whose library nonetheless EXPLODES
>Nintendo and MS near graphical parody but with polar opposite demographics

There was just so much on offer that gen.

The 3DS is the only thing stopping 8th gen from being an abject failure.

i spent most of my days with the PS2 so i choose that

>Jak series
>crash bandicoot series
>DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi seriese
from PS3 onward most of the games are extremelly similar to PC or have counterparts there
