Saw this at Blockbuster way back. Never thought it would be the same gameplay as BfBB since almost every license games, even with the same property, had different gameplay aside from shit like sequels.

There's Batman on the NES. Also Toy Story Racer on the PS1.

I don't know, I liked Liberation. It's pretty much the only game to make you have to disguise the fact that you're running around decked out in assassination gear and the story was neat. I was a fan of the anonymous hacktavist analog kicking you to the Vita's boot menu to patch your game. I recall there being complaints about bugs, though I only really ran into one that sorted itself out.

I suppose it was just an okay, not good game, in the end. Still worth it.

>>376168446
Origins was a production mess, scripts were being written whilst filming, delays, other obligations etc. The game was made way before the film was finished so they just polished it.
>>
>>376168392
The death of AA production is really killing me here. There's just not as many company's around making the games that are a bit lower budget and kind of jank, but it's okay because they're not big productions to begin with. So they can cover a lot more basis with more niche or less popular genres. Now it's mostly big projects that are high budget but kind of jank anyway. And there's a dearth of certain genres because they need surer things in order to justify the budget.

WATCH

The first Battlefront was pretty cool in how it had you play as the droids on Naboo during TPM until Clone Wars.
>>
>>376168446

It was developed by Raven, who do not make shit games. They were making a stand alone Wolverine game independent of the movie, but the publishers made them rebrand it to release with the movie and they had to force in some levels that related it to the movie. It was probably always a decent game, held back from being a great game by being rushed and forced to follow a shitty movie.

Unfortunately, Raven is now stuck making Call of Duty DLC.

>>
>>376171094

I felt like only the first episode is truly great. Before you even finish the first episode you start to feel your weapons being nerfed (technically the alien HP is probably just going up), but at least it's subtle. It becomes really obvious as the game goes on and makes them start to feel weak. Second episode, nonetheless, ends up being way easier than the first since dog aliens and soldiers are easier than the regular aliens. Third episode ramps the difficulty up to 11 with shitloads of buffed regular aliens, half the levels are just a repeat of a boring "circle hallway" map where you have to clear out rooms of aliens before activating the exit, and at least one of the missions required a certain % of secrets found but I didn't have enough explosive ammo to take down secret destructible walls so I could progress. Never finished the game.

But, anyway, yeah the first episode is really good at least. Figures it'd be the best, since it was based on the best movie for that kind of gameplay (Aliens).
