I don't think you realize that Ronaldo wanted to fight the fucking stars. Literally endless, infinite, infinitely powerful deities beyond human comprehension. Ronaldo's route is a bad end and there's no other way to spin it. There's no "advancement" from fighting an enemy that can overwhelm you with sheer force and numbers while also being beyond comprehension.
