I think Sony will be the big winner, although the Switch might top that if the Japanese market continues to support them and it gains traction.

I think Microsoft fucked up a bit too much to catch up though, unless they can sell scorpio at a good price range and be miles better then the Pro.

I'm going to say the Switch. Scorpio even at $499 is going to be too expensive to be a multiplat machine no matter how well they run when most games will still be on the eighth gen consoles, and it'll likely be a bit more. While PS4 total I'm sure will curb stomp the Switch, the Pro has not been selling and Sony has a policy of not allowing any games just to come out on the pro, so people are likely to keep buying the standard model. This is of course, assuming Sony won't release the PS5 early enough to be considered 9th-gen. I personally think they'll hold off until Microsoft announces the Scorpio successor, simply because this is really the first time where you don't have to upgrade consoles to get the next gen's games so most probably won't and I think Sony knows that

Out of the 3 the Switch without competition. It won't do very good, 20 million at best but most people won't switch from Ps4 to Ps4 pro (even the normal Ps4 still sells better than the pro) and the Scorpio will be a stillbirth so yeah, Switch has no real competition. Most people who care about the strengths of the pro and Scorpio just get a pc and not a console in the first place.

The PS4 has already won from the looks of things. The Xbox is lacking in future and present games but we might be presently surprised in the near future. The Switch is too early to predict, largely stemming from the Nintendo brand name. It is confusing to see the console sell when console itself lacks an exclusive library. Perhaps the fans of Nintendo have boosted sales but might have a hard time finding new ones.

What are you basing this on? Nintendo's previous recent consoles have been mediocre. The switch is by far the least impressive in terms of hardware. Nintendo has by far the fewest titles available on their console. So.....how do you justify this? Are you mobile gamers?

The switch is a nice novelty machine, which will have 3-4 unique and attractive titles during its lifespan, but its not really in the same conversation as either the xbox or ps. Not for serious console veterans anyways.

I can see reasons to buy the Xbox scorpio over the Xbox one and the switch over the Wiiu but can't find any worthwhile reasons to buy the pro over the ps4. Even digital foundry said the ps4 pro was a mess and in the latest game they reviewed being outlast 2 the game didn't even downsample at 1080p. Devs aren't bothering with that thing. At least when it comes to the Xbox it will have automatic downsampling etc. I think Sony rushed that shit out the door way too quick. I mean, even the design is fucking car crash ugly. It looks like a fucking stacked burger.
