I remember downloading this as abandonware, though I remember it very vaguely. I actually played through a huge amount of it and enjoyed it a ton. Among some other little details I remember that one of your co-pilots is discovered to be a spy for the enemy faction.


For a few years in my childhood I played a ton of abandonware because I wasn't in full on pirate mode just yet. I remember checking The Home of the Underdogs all the time for updates.

There's this old DOS game I've been trying to find for years now. There was this turn based isometric game with two small armies fighting against eachother, kind of like chess. When opposing units got into contact with one another, the game would switch to a real time battle system.

I remember thinking the various elementals in the game looked really damn cool.
