They had the right idea of making ultimates not basically a win button but that also makes it so like everyone is really uneffective unless you rely on your shitty teammates
not to mention the game is a fucking slog with entirely too much ttk and such lenient hitboxes that it actually is a ripoff of their other game uhhh what was it called OH smite

overwatch at least requires you to aim and position, this game turns it into some super lenient bullshit where it takes like 3 sniper "headshots" to kill you and everyone is just fucking tanky and it's a bore

Hi-Rez has had a lot of practice doing multiplayer shooters. First T.R.I.B.E.S and then SMITE. Heard the pvp aspect of their failed MMORPG was ok too.

Thats why Hi-Rez patching tends to be better with SMITE than Blizzard patching on Overwatch, they've learned by mistakes that its always better to be open about why they're tweaking something and what is their idea on what will happen. And they actually listen to player feedback on PTS, unlike Overwatch team.

Paladins ripping hero models from SMITE is even more blatant. Grover the biggest example. Cassie is obviously a tweaked model of Nu Wa, And Seris is ripped from Nemesis.

I'm not gonna play again until they either stop ruining Front Line and Support, or they redesign the game so it's no longer required to have someone play them every round.

It's actually a lot of fun, but like Smite it suffers from feeling like a mobile game. The animations suck and nothing has impact. Just moving around and firing feels like you are underwater. It lacks the weight or polish of games like Overwatch, or just about any other major FPS.

Idk how people like it so much. It has like a billion tiny things i fucking hate. The hit sounds are shit, how they all scream every fucking line and don't just have death screams they have to say some XD wacky quote. The mounts could easily be just closer fucking spawns/higher movement speed overall. The no switching bullshit. 5 players per team is way too small. All the characters that aren't blatant overwatch rip offs are boring as fuck. The dumb buying upgrades system. And so much more shit.

I know this is pretty much all personal preference but there are so many things I hate I can't even play it even with my friends.
