Since the switch from PES to Fifa the better part of a decade ago, Fifa 17 has been the first really awful one. Its really not a franchise worth supporting anymore. Bug fixes don't exist, the UI is scarcely improved year in, year out, and content that isn't FUT is almost entirely ignored.

Meanwhile the gameplay revamps between games swing wildly in terms if quality, but I can 100% guarantee you after 3 months it will be patched into a state where you literally just Sprint at each other and it's fucking tedious.

I enjoy playing FIFA and I haven't bothered buying a PS4 or Xbone this gen, but even I won't be getting the Switch version. It looks like a really shoddy port and I'd imagine that EA won't include things like FUT in the Switch version. Plus if there is no cross-platform play then I can imagine that the online will be dead since I can't see many other people buying FIFA on the Switch.

Vita had FIFA 6 years ago.

I'll definitely be getting FIFA on switch if they have FUT and not the stripped down version that was on WiiU.
