Well then, if you really have that Halo itch then i'd say go for it. There's a bundle with TMCC that you should look for imo, Halo 5 should be pretty cheap nowadays and Halo Reach is backwards compatible.

The community will never be back, period. Therefore to me the game is pointless. I can still play and enjoy it fine, the only thing it's lacking is custom nights and a decent online community, but that golden era of early online console gaming is far gone.

God I miss it so fucking much. Halo 3 customs were great. I never really was able to get a bunch of friends to have regular custom FFAs or TDMs on our custom made maps though. It was hard to get them to play regular game modes like that.

Halo 3 would be kinda pushing it, it was an early gen game that looks rough in some areas and it could definitely be improved graphically. Reach on the other hand still looks great, i don't think any Halo game after Halo 3 will ever need a full graphics overhaul.

Did you? It's literally the modern version of Halo 2 made by same multiplayer lead guy who worked on H2 back then, it plays nothing like Halo 4 and the only similarities are some weapon/armor designs. H2A is pure Halo perfection and what H6 should be, it's only issue was being packed in TMCC.

Halo 3's campaign doesn't need a remaster with 343 fucking up Bungie's art. Halo 3 had the best lighting, water, sand, and explosions, along with some beautiful skyboxes, it doesn't need 343 fucking that up along with the sound effects like they did Halo 1 and 2. Also I feel that Halo 2 A's cutscene are overrated they don't have the same transitions as Bungie's cutscenes, dialogue and music can sometimes be off cue compared the original, and there are obvious mistakes not found in the original game's cutscenes.
