What went right? What went wrong?

1 year to develop a sequel. 3 years to develop another. Oh how I miss the days when you had to wait 7 years for a sequel to drop.

It was shit from the start.
>Origins
Some went right, some went wrong, overall it was alright.
>2
Almost everything went wrong.
>Inquisition
Everything went wrong.
>>376109223
>Origins
A lot of things went right. Combat sucked though.
>II
A lot of things went wrong. The mechanics were too simplified
>Inquisition
It looked nice. And the combat was better than II but that's about it.

Awakening was an expansion. Besides:
>Baldur's Gate 1998
>Baldur's Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast 1999
>Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn 2000
>Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal 2001
>Fallout 1997
>Fallout 2 1998
>Fallout Tactics 2001
First two series that popped into my head.

wasn't dragon age 2 supposed to be an expansion like awakening but then turned it into a "full" game all of a sudden?
>>376109223
Origins was pretty cool as a game with its party and custom AI mechanics. But I didnt like the writing at all.
Less is more. They should have kept it minimal.

>What went right
Origins, Inquisition.
>What went wrong
II
>What went horribly wrong

Agreed, they went almost Kingdom hearts 2 on it during the first game. Don't know about the other two since I didn't play them
