From a video game perspective, Chaos is the superior option. Chaos means you can do whatever you want as long as you have the strength to see it through, and the player character is one of the strongest if not the strongest entity in the game at the end. It sucks for everyone else though, because most regular humans don't stand a chance in a world like this even before you factor in the existence of demons.

Law is the most attractive option from the average person's perspective. Everyone is oppressed equally, so nobody is worse off than anyone else. Nobody benefits except those in charge, but hey at least you won't get shit on by everyone who's stronger than you, which makes it seem like a great idea to the average pasty nerdling on /v/, without aspirations, ambitions or personal responsibility. It's ultimately a coward's choice, a choice for people who would rather be a "comfy" slave than a free man. That doesn't necessarily make it a bad choice (many people would go for it IRL), but in the context of the game it rarely has any real merit especially since YHWH is usually a big barrel of dicks.

The Neutral, human-focused route is obviously the best overall, at least in theory. The "hurp neutral means not choosing any sides" has always been a dumb meme. Neutrality emphasizes self-determination and a freedom from the metaphysical chains represented by the extreme options of Law and Chaos, allowing humanity to find their own way instead of slavishly adhering to a single imperative. However, in the SMT games neutrality is rarely a positive and hopeful choice. It's often a compromise where everyone loses in order to keep their freedom, or just a fragile and temporary extension of the status quo. So best intentions aside, it can come across as delaying the problem and letting the next generation deal with it.

Of course the details change with individual games and some games make paths more attractive than they usually are, so it's hard to choose one side for all games.

Restoring Earth sounds like a nice thing until you remember that it will probably be destroyed the next time Polaris decides free will is shit or whatever. And this time around there may not a be a team of teenagers with attitude to fix everything. I still assume teams of teenagers of attitude preventing the daily Apocalypse are still more of an exception in SMT, contrary to the evidence we get.
Also, it's just kinda a conventional "status quo neutral" ending whereas Anguished One's is more "fuck yeah, free will! humanity can be awesome!" Daichi's is just less appealing in that way.

There are three (arguably four) Neutrals in this game.
The first one is the one you got where you just plain kill Polaris. The world is an ocean, but at least there is no Polaris anymore.
The second one and the third one are both Daichi deciding to just reset the world to not long before the catastrophe using the Akashic Records, and hoping the party being extra awesome will somehow make Polaris reconsider destroying everything because apparently them not being shit means humanity isn't shit in Polaris' eyes either. In the second one, it's hinted it fails, in the third one it's hinted it works. NG+ could be justified as continuation of the second one with some parts bleeding through.
The fourth one is you convince the Anguished One to usurp Polaris by arguing that pure free will and non-involvement from supernaturals can mean humanity becomes awesome, and it has never been tried yet. He agrees, you kill Polaris, Anguished One takes his place and becomes a brand new Earth where you now need to be a good influence on the new civilisation. It's not mentioned whether anybody but your party survives, but even AO can't interfere with humanity anymore.

Also, in case you were interested in requirements for the other endings:
You can get the "restore" ending by seeing some special event with Daichi that gives you the idea and then mentioning the option to Daichi in a dialogue, you can make it successful by getting everybody but Daichi, Io, Hinako and AO to Fate 4 in time for battles with them.
You can get AO's ending by regularly seeing his events. I think you need his Fate at 4, and then you get the option to talk with him. Mind you, Yamato and Ronaldo refuse to join you in this ending. Everybody you get to Fate 4 joins you, of course.

Neutral rarely does much because it's often not a separate "side" in SMT. Usually it's just MC deciding that killing literally everyone is still a better option than whatever crap the others are spouting, or a plan the characters come up two minutes before the decisive moment, once somebody actually tells them what the hell is going on.
And when it's an actual side, it's usually the best ending.
