Fused Satan as soon as I maxed out the Judge SLink and never looked back. Considering the biblical nature of the final dungeon enemies and boss, it worked out rather well thematically.

The personas I used the longest were a Kin-Ki that I made from an Oni. I used that fucker all the way to the end when I could finally turn him into an Ongyo-Ki and then finally into Yoshitsune. I also have an Isis that I made in Futaba's dungeon that I kept in my roster all the way to the end.

He's pretty good when you level him up, yeah.

Mostly used Seth during and after the Casino because One Shot Kill with Charge and both gun passives is fucking hilarious. Lived up to its name on a couple of the Boat bosses.

For the final dungeon I flicked through a couple different endgame personae because I didn't really fuse anything with the specific aim of making it overpowered. Made a Beelzebub with Concentrate and Maziodine and that pretty much settled the final boss' hash.
I'm not sure whether I want to go through NG+ with or without abusing Strength's fusion perk. I could try to be more strategic, use only basic personas/gear and go through on Merciless, or I could fuse Yoshitsune and just stomp the game on Safety.

I got a King Frost somewhere down the line on my first playthrough. Bufudyne, Mabufudyne, Psiodyne, Megaton Raid, Magic Boost, Ice Amp and Reflect Phys. It's Endurance also meant that anything that did hit me did fuck all.
On my second playthrough I went with an Arsene that I kept sacrificing Personas (Personae?) to keep levelling and gaining skills. It had Eigaon, Maeigaon, Agidyne, Maragidyne, Fire Amp, Resist Ice, Reflect Phys and Growth 3.

Arsene starts at Level 1 so that gives him the most flexibility of any Persona if you strengthen him I think. If you disregard his weaknesses he's an excellent Persona.

Why are people so obsessed with rank 10 temprance? I went in mostly blind (other than advice about rushing Chihaya) and had like 20 free evenings left at the end of the game. Why does it matter if you save 7 or 8 more with Kawakami?

Same here. Fuck, it's important either way since at least it feels great being fully maxed out and not having to worry in NG+, bu still, so many +3 social stats wasted while I was doing the Confidants later on.

Nah, more damage is better. Drain is better for elemental skills since most enemies absorb/null what they use but almost everyone can slap you and few are immune to phys.

I kept my Black Frost around for a long time. I was able to get him early with the Strength Confidant bonus.

Tartarus is incredibly boring and slow. What I do is hit every shadow I see on the way up and save before hitting the boss, if I fail I just start from the bottom of the block and repeat. I was usually overpowered for the bosses because I'd run through two or three times before the fights. Was easy to do in portable, but you have to deal with fatigue in FES so just try again the next time you feel like it.

I took Zaou Gongen, Vishnu and Cybele into the final battle.

Neko Shogun was probably my MVP Persona though. I built one with lots of buffs and physical skills aswell as psy magic. Had Ame no Uzeme as a a backup mage/healer. I used both from the 3rd dungeon well into the 5th. Hell I don't think I fused Uzeme until the Casino.

These were two I carried up until the final boss. Rangda made MC basically invincible to a bunch of mini bosses and bosses.

I'm not saying this to brag, but as a long time persona and SMT player, persona 5 was way too easy and some of the personas broke the game. I lost once during a boss fight (the robot army) all game and one shotted everything else with little difficulty. I also didn't use a guide or learn of that reaper exploit until I had finished the game and was farming trophies in NG+.

People who found this game difficult either never played a persona/SMT game or they are just shit.

I had Girimehkala up until the final dungeon, when I upgraded him to a Sandalphon. Kept the repel phys because it's a skill, and repel bless was a lot better than bless weakness in the last few fights. I had to use a limelight on Joker to make Mikey kill himself, because oh shit a boss actually knows how to buff/debuff.

But yeah repel phys is just so stupid in this game.

I just fused whatever the strongest personas were after each trip to mementos/palaces until i could fuse a yoshitsune that had repel/drain for everything except for gun. Using that in NG+ now and it's pretty great.

I used Seth for the longest time.

At the end I just spent all my money to make the SL10 Personas to have the Reigster Entries for NG+.
Ended the Game with Lucifer, Yoshitsune, Vishnu and Alice.

Thanks to inheritance my Seigfried had charge, matarukaja, swift strike, triple down and a variety of gun/melee strength passives, so I just used that.

At that point in the game damage doesn't really matter unless it one-shots you because SP items are cheap and amazing, you should have SP charger accessories, and both Makoto and Morgana get mediarahan
