The Switch is the only time I felt happy to pre order a console, seeing as it is guaranteed to have a good future and I couldn't get it elsewhere without preordering unless I were to wait some time next year.

Just bought one for the restock last week, I'd been saving up $5-10 a week since the rumors for the NX happened. Though I'm putting myself through college. only problem I had was getting one that was in stock at a store and not paying some scalper for it.

If I wait till december I can probably get it bundled with botw or arms or maybe some sort of package deal where I get 1 2 switch (cause lord knows i'd never buy it otherwise, but I do want it cause it's probably the only game that'll use half the features in our $50 wagglesticks) and something like MK8.

even then I don't really want it, nothing appeals to me on it. Lots of multiplats/definitive releases, sure, but it's still, in the end, shit I played before. The indies even, getting spectre of torment early was a nice move, but it was only a month and some change, I waited that out and by day 4 of the switch's launch I forgot spectre of torment even existed until my copy updated. Just too many issues with it that i'm wary about, real or not, and not enough games that I personally am interested in enough to buy one.

I'm fine with the meme that only exclusives count and BotW doesn't count as a Switch game, as long as we apply that rule evenly to all consoles.
