The only way to get kills is to be a hero or to use explosives.
Hit detection is shitty and with rolling being so fast and spammable, anyone with a projectile weapon is going to lose to an AOE one.

Since everyone picks the rocket or remote bomb class, vehicles are totally useless.

The game had potential
But it's not very good.

I actually liked LOTR Conquest because the Battlefront gameplay style was so good even if the game was a lesser Battlefront without vehicles.

One thing I kinda like about the first Battlefront is how the campaign made you play as the droids during Naboo even the clone campaign only went to Kashyyk since RoTS came out concurrent with BF2.

Who here played the fuck out of the demo that came with the dvd of RoTS?

As somebody who prefers BF1 as well, that game really is horribly balanced. The Rebel Pilot kicks the shit out of anything the Empire has and the CIS has Droidekas.

I don't play as the rebels that much at all, but yes, the rebel pilots are pretty annoying when playing as the empire.

As long as there's only one, you can exploit their well-known weakness and stand right in front of them until their shield runs out.
I myself prefer to use standard infantry, or the assassin droid when playing as CIS.

That was probably the biggest disappointment for me, other than that game was 10/10 easy
