DS4Windows stopped working today. Did a Windows update break it?

literally just use an xbox 360 controller

i fumbled around trying to get my ps4 controller to work then tried my 360 controller out of pure curiosity and it was literally just plug and play

I've had this problem a lot. Usually what works is going to your devices, selecting the controller (it will say something like "no working drivers" or "driver issue", digitally disconnect the device (in that device menu), and then disconnect and reconnect the hardware.

is there a reset button on your controller?
I for a few days couldn't find out why I couldn't get scp to work until I found some forum with one post saying that there is a reset button on the back of my ps3 controller, I pressed it with a toothpick, and lo and behold, it worked.

I'm asking if there's a reset button because I don't have a ps4 controller.
