How? Dualshock I get since it's a pain in the ass to properly aim with those sticks (Both DS3 and DS4) since they feel so sensitive, but there's absolutely no excuse with the 360/Xbone controller, the damn thing is basically made for shooters and is nice.

Throw out every tiny bit of aim help / correction inside of every FPS and you will see how broken and shit the games become when used by anyone that isn't an highly experienced console player.

The point I'm trying to make is that most console shooter need aim assit to help the casual fags to get shit done at all, that's not the case on PC thanks to the mouse begin a very easy to use device.

There are exceptions for the rule of course, just throwing out some ideas.

They're both tools used to serve a purpose. In the right hands a controller can be just as good. The FPS genre isn't as twitch based anymore so controllers are a viable option for a lot of games. Especially ones that require you to drive a vehicle.

You can download quakeworld and do the tutorials for rocket jumping, strafe jumping etc.

Several developers have initially planned for console/PC cross platform compatibility but decided to scrap it during development because it simply wasn't fun for the console players.

I'm not in any way saying console gamers are worse players, it's just the input method that is suboptimal compared to M+KB.

There's a reason pretty much all console FPS have aim assist.

If I recall correctly, the first two really popular FPSes - Wolfenstein 3d and Doom - did not even give you the option to mouseaim.
Quake could also be played with keyboard only, but it was shown that allowing you to aim with a mouse was much more powerful.
