This game was amazing. The amount of detail is just staggering. Every interior is like a meticulous diorama. Most of the stuff you simply just pass or drive by but there's still so much detail.

I love the slow, methodical pace of this game. There's just something so pleasing about it. I love how the run button is more like a very soft jog, and when Cole handles evidence, he very gingerly handles it with his fingers and very carefully places it back.

yeah, the guillotine is still probably the best way to execute people, since it's painless but also fucked up enough that no one's in a hurry to do it

compare it to the lethal injection, which is super painful and expensive but looks 'clean' enough that some states hand it out like candy

The company died because they had terrible management. They spent 8 years working on LA Noire and got pretty much nowhere until Rockstar stepped in and kicked them into shape. During the long development Team Bondi would make staff work extended hours claiming for years on end that the game was "Just a few months from release, this is the final push" and it would all be worth it. Instead of giving pay rises to existing employees they just made new positions under them, doing the exact same work but for less pay. They burned through employees and new hires often had to spend months figuring out what their predecessors had been doing, slowing development further.

Even though they were lucky enough to get to work with Rockstar they burned all bridges by arguing with them over the game's creative direction. When the game finally released they had to cut two of the planned desks and got in trouble for leaving many of their former employees out of the credits.

Everybody sins, did he make up for it though

The fact we never see his wife makes it hard to care

I really wanted to like this game but the god damn sound cues and instant feedback if you made the right choice during the interviews or not was so annoying. Why can't they just keep shut and let me find out about it once the consequences hit me? I wish there would be a setting that turned all that stuff off

Chases were the greatest when you managed to not get juked out of your tires. Having your sidekick shoot out his wheels and curb the dude with sick car maneuvers was awesome. The pedestrians in that game had a fuckin deathwish and almost ran as fast as they could to get in your way.
>>
Why was Cole Phelps crucified for sleeping with a German woman? his career and his life went to shit.
>>
The demotion to arson gave you some fun little puzzles at least. Kind of. Like when the guy shows you how the heat thingamajig works, that was cool. also threatening the illegal immigrants at the fruit store.

Jesus i wonder if It's the large amount of newfags... some months ago people would've gone nuts over this shit, even if just a bit.

Who gives a shit? Back when i joined people went bullhit over it every damn time, even if just to a small degree.
And most the times it didn't derailed jackshit to begin with.

Yes he did. He fucked a women who wasn't his wife.

Sequel when?
I'd be happy if Rockstar made a spiritual successor of either this game or Bully after they're done with RDR 2.
