Cole Phelps did nothing wrong. NOTHING WRONG!
This game was amazing. The amount of detail is just staggering. Every interior is like a meticulous diorama. Most of the stuff you simply just pass or drive by but there's still so much detail.

I love the slow, methodical pace of this game. There's just something so pleasing about it. I love how the run button is more like a very soft jog, and when Cole handles evidence, he very gingerly handles it with his fingers and very carefully places it back.

>>376069712
The company died because they had terrible management. They spent 8 years working on LA Noire and got pretty much nowhere until Rockstar stepped in and kicked them into shape. During the long development Team Bondi would make staff work extended hours claiming for years on end that the game was "Just a few months from release, this is the final push" and it would all be worth it. Instead of giving pay rises to existing employees they just made new positions under them, doing the exact same work but for less pay. They burned through employees and new hires often had to spend months figuring out what their predecessors had been doing, slowing development further.
Even though they were lucky enough to get to work with Rockstar they burned all bridges by arguing with them over the game's creative direction. When the game finally released they had to cut two of the planned desks and got in trouble for leaving many of their former employees out of the credits.
