Whichever is cheaper for your budget and use case as they'll all run games perfectly fine. The new Intel Pentium is like $70 but can run most games at 1080p60 locked. On the other side of the spectrum there is the amd r7 series and Intel core i7 series and that's just a weigh up of more cores vs higher peak performance if you're playing with a high refresh monitor.

Don't ever buy Radeon gpu though.

If you want a workstation go with amd otherwise if you just want a dedicated gaming pc go with intel.

Because it's always hit and miss from amd when it comes to gpu's in my experience. I've owner 2 amd gpu's so far and 2 Nvidia gpu in the last 10 years and I can say that my experience with Radeon has been noticeably worse than with GeForce. My last Radeon gpu was an r9 390 msi gaming 8g and it was a good gpu when it actually worked. I still have vivid memories of the crimson drivers releasing and making every game crash or black screen. It didn't overclock very well either. My 1070 on the other hand is a goddamn monster of a gpu and it's extremely reliable. I've had it for about 6 months and not a single display driver crash. The shadowplay instant capture feature is a nice GeForce bonus too. I can capture the last couple of minutes of gameplay at the press of a button kinda like how Xbox/ps4 do it.

the 6500 is still a decent midrange processor. You'll certainly get stable 60fps on those games with that setup. I would personally get the r5 1600 instead, just because it performs roughly the same in games, but much better in non-gaming multithreading applications
