The only time I use motion blur is when I wanna max out graphics but can't hold 60+ framerate. I then lock it at 30 and motion blur makes it a little better.

But I only do this for pretty single player games that my computer can't run smoothly. I have a gtx 760. Anywhere else is cancer.

Motion blur is absolutely horrible, so I turn it off whenever I can. Same goes for depth of field.

As part of a visual effect and part of gameplay? Sure. Get stunned and suffer heavy blur as you recover. Activate the turbo drive and lose the edge of your screen to blur while the center stays clear. That works.

How about object motion blur? Where it's applied to models in motion rather than the whole screen. I thought it looked pretty good in the Turok 2 remaster.
