One of the few games based on television or movie that is bretty fun, and at times challenging. There's a few decent jokes as well and for the time THQ did a pretty good job with the gramphics. They look pretty smudged today but my younger sisters still play it from time to time, along with simpsons hit and run

It's a decent licensed game and platformer in the vein of Super Mario 64 that's very faithful to the show it's based on. It also has some surprisingly good music for a SpongeBob game.

Keep in mind that this game came out in 2003, back when licensed games were more common and most of them ranged from abysmal to mediocre. Licensed games that were actually good by normal game standards were rare and got a lot of attention because of their exceptional quality.
