but i'm sure it'll help if you had the drawcian/magolorian DX gear as well for your teammates

Yeah it's one of those "free to start" nintendo games (kind of like shareware).
If you know what to do though (i.e. main beam mage), you'll never need to spend a cent. The only huge apple cost thing is the final boss.

I've progressed to the point of being able to unlock Taranza with T5 gear; however, I have not played Triple Deluxe yet, and feel that it wouldn't be right to battle Taranza in a free-to-play game over the game he comes from (even though you don't actually fight him in TD). Thus, I have been grinding on the available bosses until I play Triple Deluxe, which I will do in a week and few days.

I see. Well enjoy TD, although don't expect much from Taranza, he's very weak and easy to avoid compared to the other Ordeal bosses and like you said, pussies out in TD for the real final boss.

He got Meta Knightmare Returns last year, it'll probably be a while until his next solo outing. I'd love one though, with Galacta as a secret unlockable character.
