Probably my GOTY too, and I've played Nier, Yakuza 0, BotW and Persona 5.

It might be my favorite sequel of all time. It still has flaws that I don't think can ever be properly fixed (camera wonky, combat not great), but it delivered exactly what I wanted: give me GR1, double the map size and quadruple the length.

A diamond in the rough. It's playable on Vita but it definitely feels like the potential was scaled down to fit the hardware, load times are a pain (especially on challenge missions) and the DLC is a bit pricey all things considered. The gameplay concept, artstyle and music gives it a whole lot of charm though and GR2 continues that trend while making things a bit better in general.

Because the games themselves are and we're far enough removed from release to where the only people interested in talking about the games are people that actually liked them. It was pretty shitty at first with GR2 since the jump to PS4 (and a bigger audience) led to more shitposting but it seems to have laid off a bit.

Same. There were a couple that were pretty damn frustrating, but I honestly had little to no trouble with the stealth ones. I'm thinking a lot of people didn't catch on to how you can kill everyone. Also, the ones where it tells you "don't shift gravity," and people literally just run on the ground instead of sticking to walls and shit, which you still can.

I had the most trouble with the Battle Nurse ones I think. When gravity is completely shut off, you really see how poorly Kat controls.

I started to rage at the last one I think. You had to jump and land on the flying cars, but she would always roll. And she can't turn around without moving forward first, so it was hard to prepare for the next jump. The dialogue before and after the quests always were worth it though.

I think the sidequests really deserve more praise. It was a great way to mix it up, and there were some really, really good ones.
