Brightwing is pretty fun. You can take minion camps instantly so she's pretty OP on hanamura. Everyone showed up for objectives except like once, people didn't feed too hard (as in, they'd make a mistake, die, then not do that mistake again), supports supported, people tended not to try and 1v2 or worse, basically everyone was playing "well". Still scrub-tier skills like myself, but everyone was trying to at least play the game semi intelligently. Not at all the expected clusterfuck.

You aren't supposed to play him like fucking zeratul or shit like that. His basically not even an assassin despite being clumped in with them. Once you figure out how to play him, his lack of escape becomes irrelevant, because his playstyle doesn't warrant an escape method.
You basically zone with him using his force lighting to poke enemies, and telekinesis to manipulate their positions, and when fight starts, you use the discord strike to silence important targets and fuck em up. He isn't a fucker that messes with the enemy backline like Zeratul.

They're fun video games, I dunno what you want.
Building on a custom map from Warcraft 3 that was 10 players all controlling one hero and turning it into a PvP RPG, it's sort of like MMO PvP, but faster paced and with fewer abilities and items to pay attention to, and you don't have to grind for days and days to get to the point that you can compete.

In fact it even says that on my LoL collector's edition, the physical box they sold when the game came out. "MMO-style PvP with none of the grind."

HotS is simpler even than LoL, but the hero design is very good. The characters are all (mostly) a ton of fun to play.

Pretty horrible. Probius is not FP/FB material by any means. Lucio and Auriel are way stronger than Rehgar and Kharazim right now. Thrall and Medivh should be one tier down, and so should Rag on most maps. Uther is top tier now. Sylvanas, Sonya and Muradin should be one tier up. Brightwing should be two tiers up, and Stiches is very good on Towers of Doom
