agreed but I'm not sure the core gameplay is really that great unless you just really enjoy micromanaging stamina. Neither Ninja Gaiden or Dark Souls require you to pay as much attention, but they're both more fluid and more fun to me.

Odachi's are my new weaponfu and Way of the Demon is what Way of the Strong should've been. The new region has three new unique zones but about eight missions in total and the bosses don't fuck around one bit.

It works off of the assist gauge like in co-op per team. First team to run out of gauge loses, you average about 4-5k glory per win.

Nah unfortunately, I was excited when I saw you could solo the centipede boss, but they did the bullshit thing of you needing to play a fuckhuge level to get to Date for a chance at gear/plans.

Really wish you could just flat out craft shit after beating a boss.

For OP though, yeah I think it did address some issues. Odachi is super great, gear-sets are really nice, Way of the oni or whatever is a decent difficulty change, 2 spirits is good. Its just more quality stuff. The new Yokai are alright too, still needs a dozen more though.

That hasn't really changed here, but I wouldn't know how bad it is for certain since I'm toting Tatenashi at almost +15 each set piece and nothing hurts me anymore.

It breathed new life into the game for me if thats what you're asking. It never needed saving, its already a great game only made better by the DLC.

However my KEY complaint is that some of the missions are too damn difficult. Has anyone completed Secrets of the Dead in Chugoku in Way of the Strong? at lvl 205 with 2kat it feels impossible to beat because I don't have all +10 armor and these bitch ass spiders literally 2 hit me. I need some fuckin help but have to get it from someone whos beaten the mission already.

I loaded the game up to see if nodachis can be obtained without the dlc and tried just that mission. Felt like I was taking crazy pills when my heavy armor axe-user with over 5000 health was eating shit in 3 hits. I don't have any armor of levels that don't drop naturally. Beat it after a few tries, but whoever came up with 2 paralysis spinning umbrellas + cloth-throwing bitch while a horde of skeletons chase you can die in a fire.

The level design is fine. The backdrops are repetitive, but the levels are large and full of nooks and crannies to explore.

The problem is that the exploration becomes rather useless due to randomized loot.

game was always awesome, i dont mind the level by level design, game feels like more of a challenge type game i can pick and play a level or 2 now and then and put it down. great game for a few hours now and then, its hard at first but once you learn the game (bassic ally beat hino ema) its actually quite fair and fun combat,

still hope they go with a das1 type map for nioh 2 though, even wouldn't mind one set in india and shows their historical side with a folklore monster spin.

I went with Ki damage because the reduced stamina skill only applies to like two of the stance switching abilities and you have to use those specific ones instead of abilities like the high-stance double slash and tail strike, both of which are very good.
If they made the effect proc on say a Ki flux then it'd be perfect because there's a shitton of that going on.
