The version from UC2 was probably my favorite. Simply because you could charge up the secondary fire. As well as firing a charged up disk into a surface, turning it into a proxy mine.

These are the first weapons you should get in my opinion, the ones that can reliably get you through all the content. If you have shit like properly set opticor then you're all set. The entire reason the gatling rotator sucked was because turret mode already let you fire nearly instantly, and with the increased fire rate. I guess the increased damage that it got made it better for ammo conservation, but who the fuck wants to conserve ammo with a fucking minigun?

I got the impression such a gun would have no effect on demons. They do a good job of hyping up the guns, the gauss cannon is shown needing a team of people to operate it for example. Sounds much more awesome than normal assault rifle, which they actually have in MP

Painkiller's guns all feel pretty underwhelming to me. Serious Sam just has better feeling weapons I guess, the Minigun in SS is always feels so good to use and it hits a mark were it's in between a power weapon and a more common one. Then again I haven't played either in a while but I dislike how slowly Painkiller gives you weapons.

Also the Gauss Cannon in the new DOOM is fucking fantastic. Jumping, going into Siege, and then firing a shot off a second after you land feels great and hits hard as fuck. The BFG in that game is also a super fun room clearer.

it is literally impossible since you're constantly showered with ammos when doing glory kills, plus chainsaw, plus ammo boxes, plus ammo on the map, PLUS demons start dropping some ammo when you're low even if you don't glory kill.
