It may still shit the bed, but it's pretty solid thus far. I was initially pissed off that you couldn't turn off the quest compass, but the quest compass has been used relatively sparingly and as far as I can tell it's not used on sidequests and shit so it's not too big of a drawback. I picked up a shotgun so maybe they'll be easier now, but using my stun-gun (Which you can get in practically the tutorial, thought that was a cool secret) and wrench it was a pretty desperate fight. The way that it usually works down here is that companies underprice their digital PC AAA games because we just don't buy them if they don't. Usually a 60 dollar game is sold for 120 BRL (37 dollars), but Prey has a 220 real pricetag on it (70 dollars), that's literally 25% of our minimum wage.

It's fucking stupid and i don't know why a few companies insist on doing it since it will reduce sales here by 90%, and i actually have some proof of that. Heavensward, FFXIV's expansion, suffered from the same thing and i can say firsthand that a lot of Brazilian players quit the game. Thus far I'd still give the edge to Dishonored 2, but that's in large part because I'm comparing it to playing all of Dishonored 2 against an hour of two of Prey.

Still, Dishonored 2 will probably be stronger simply due to being more open. Since you're in a space station about the best you can hope for is crawling around in vents. I've found some hidden vents that got me into loot rich areas by climbing around and exploring but not quite as cool as teleporting up on rooftops and shit.

Played about 3 hours so far.

PC version is working fine. I am running on a 4790k overclocked with GTX 1080 SLI. Can play maxed out on 1440p at around 130-140 FPS and 4K at 65-80 FPS (Didn't even test 1080p, but I am sure it is more then passable). SLI is working just fine, no issues there.

The default keybinding and controls are a bit shit, and the menus take some time to get used to (I wish there was a way to turn off the item wheel when switching weapons), but the game does give you shortcut keys with your number keys.

I did have some slowdown one time when I exited and came back like 10 minutes later that I fixed by rebooting, and I did have 1 crash. Didn't lose a lot of progress though.

I am having a lot of fun so far, I like the recycle system and formation stations, and I like the layout so far. Feels like a combo of Half-Life, Deus-Ex, and Bioshock. I wish there was some better enemy variety, but I am guessing that will come.

I played the original Prey years ago and though it was OK, but so far this has been a pretty damn good game.
