Is the game mostly the side scrolling or the top down? I watched some footage of it and there was a lot more of the top down than I was expecting. I'd be more interetsted if it's mostly sidescrolling, but I suppose I shouldn't be so close minded
Also I heard that the switch version has a higher fps, but is the 3DS version still good?

There bosses in the sidescrolling bits too? I watched like the first twenty minutes and in that it looked more like an overworld between the top down parts, but I do vaguely remember a screenshot of a boss in a sidescrolling part

Yeah, with the game itself, hard mode, and extra characters sounds like it's got plenty of content. I got a while to think about it before I'd miss out on getting the DLC free, so I might as well think it over a bit more, I have stuff I can play in the meantime.
